Washington Department of Ecology has released its Eyes Over Puget Sound: 2019 Year in Review report. 2019 started with snow, but a drought in the summer kept rivers flows low - with the result that salinities in Puget Sound were elevated throughout the year. The report has information about climate and water quality, fish and phytoplankton and zooplankton, and includes aerial photos of the Sound. Read the report through the link below.
