Thank you Kids Play Today!

🚒🔥 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗦! 👨‍🚒❤️

When a fire truck pulls up at Kids Play Today, you can bet it's going to get everyone's attention! 🚒😂

We were excited to welcome Shohola Fire & Rescue for a special visit all about fire safety!

Our children had the opportunity to meet real firefighters, see a fire truck up close, and learn about the important work firefighters do to keep our community safe.

And while that BIG red truck was certainly exciting, there was an even more important reason for their visit. ❤️

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Meeting firefighters in a safe, familiar environment helps children understand that even though protective gear might look intimidating, the people wearing it are there to help!

🚒 𝗔 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗔 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧!

Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge, and commitment to keeping our community safe. We appreciate everything you do! ❤️

🏡 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: This is a wonderful time to talk with your child about your family's fire escape plan and practice what to do if a smoke alarm sounds.

And if your child comes home talking about a giant red truck, well...now you know why! 😂🚒

Thank you to everyone that came to our first fall festival yesterday! It was a great turn out and your support of our department means the world.

A special thank you to all of our sponsors who helped make this event happen. Without your help our event wouldn’t have been as successful as it was.

If you have pictures from our event we would love to see them, drop them in the comments!
