The setting for the Sturgis Showhouse is located in the historic district of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania at 20 West King Street, which was the boyhood home of General Samuel Davis Sturgis, a Union General in the Civil War. The "Civil War Trail" tells of the very rich Civil War history in Shippensburg.

- The three story brick home, circa 1831, is designed in the Greek Revival architectural styl

and boasts a Grand Foyer with a beautiful spiral staircase depicting the Civil War era.
- Dual fireplaces, ten-foot ceilings, plaster crown moldings and four-foot diameter ceiling
