The Reflector has been the campus undergraduate journal of the arts since 1957. Undergraduate students from all majors at Shippensburg University are encouraged to submit their original prose, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and artwork for consideration by our staff. Each spring, we publish a journal of pieces selected from the student submissions. Submit today at [email protected]! Submission guide

*Please note that we are open for submissions during the Fall semester between August and November. We are currently OPEN to new submissions at this time. Please also consider submitting to SpawningPool, our chapbook that accepts submissions throughout the academic year. shipspawningpool.submittable.com

Current Submission Guidelines:
Each person can only submit 5-10 submissions total (i.e. 3 poetry, 4 prose, and 3 art or any variation of that)
Only 3 of those submissions can be published in each category in the same edition of The Reflector (i.e. 3 prose, 3 poetry, and 3 art)
We only accept submissions in Word.Doc or jpeg formats. There is a maximum page limit of 10pages but we recommend sending excerpts of longer pieces as well. We also will accept pieces in any language as long as an English translation is provided. Must be a Shippensburg University Undergrad student to submit
