‼️UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION NOTICE – S. Queen St.
The Shippensburg Borough Authority would like to notify residents and businesses that the S. Queen St. Water Line Replacement Project is expected to begin on or around June 1, 2026, weather permitting. The project will impact the first block of S. Queen Street within the Borough of Shippensburg.
This project will replace aging water lines and improve the reliability of Shippensburg’s water system.
During construction, you may experience:
• Temporary traffic delays and lane closures
• Construction equipment and crews in the area
• Possible parking and access impacts near the work zone
We will work to minimize disruptions as much as possible and maintain access for residents, businesses, schools, and emergency services throughout the project.
Please use caution when traveling through the construction area and follow all posted traffic control signs. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while these important improvements are completed.
