After the Wopumnes501c3 paid for a permit to use their own Nisenan Village sacred site we were evicted to across the street to make way for Troy's California Trail Runs. "...the Gold Discovery Museum and the Native American site to depict a message of resiliency and perseverance by Native Americans in an area that was subject to environmental degradation and the mass emigration of a large non-Native American population leading to the unjust removal and near genocide of the Native American population during the California Gold Rush." ... EXCERPT from an email sent by the Park Staff about our program including inter-Tribal dancers.

THANK YOU! to all our vendors Native and non-native allies who had the perseverance to still be joyful at our Earth Day celebration despite being evicted from our Nisenan Village to across the street.
