Shillington Residents, the Shillington Tree Advisory Committee is taking requests for the fall tree planting for curb line trees. The deadline to submit a request to be included in the fall planting is September 18, 2026. Residents of the Borough may contact the Tree Advisory Committee at 484-265-1749 or [email protected].

This is a reminder for the residents of the Borough of Shillington. Due to the holiday, AJ Blosenski, the Borough’s trash collector is operating on a one day delayed schedule. Trash collection for this week will be on Friday, May 29, 2026. Thank you.

The Memorial Day Parade will be held as scheduled starting today at 10:30 am in the Shillington Park and ending at the Town Hall with the ceremony to follow. For more details, please visit shillingtonboro.com

Due to the weather, AJ Blosenski, the Borough’s trash collector is operating on a one day delayed schedule. Trash collection for this week will be on Friday, February 27, 2026. Collection will return to the regularly schedule day, next Thursday, March 5, weather permitting. Thank you.

Due to the snow accumulation predicted by the National Weather Service for the impending snow storm, a Snow Emergency has been declared in the Borough of Shillington starting at 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 22 until 4:00 pm on Monday, February 23.
As in the past, all cars must be removed from Snow Emergency routes until the street has been cleared from curb to curb and all precipitation has stopped. Vehicles that have not been moved from the snow emergency routes are subject to traffic citations.
