Our largest event of the year- Brews for the Birds Music Festival will be August 7th & 8th - outside at Langer’s Entertainment in Sherwood, Oregon. Check out the outstanding line up of musicians. This year will also feature a live bird show and birdhouse building.

This weekend is more than a three-day break or the unofficial start of summer. It's a time to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service to our country.

National memorials like the Vietnam Veterans Memorial offer space to gather, mourn and honor the fallen. As we enjoy the freedoms they protected, may we also take time to honor those who made it possible.

Welcome to Ethan - Ethan Moser is the Habitat Restoration Specialist at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge Complex. In this role, he supports the Refuge's efforts to control invasive species and restore functioning native ecosystems. Prior to this position, he worked for the Forest Service and for Oregon Natural Desert Association. Ethan grew up in various spots in Oregon, mainly on the coast and on the east side of the cascades. He attended both the University of Oregon and Oregon State University, where he obtained a BS in Biology. He is neither a Duck nor a Beaver, but is more of a Trail Blazer fan at heart (for those who care). Professionally, Ethan is very passionate about working towards creating healthy ecosystems that are ecologically rich in native diversity and will be resilient in our ever-changing climate. Personally, he is very much into playing music (folk, bluegrass, indie, punk), playing tennis, reading, cooking, traveling, and asking what it all means. He also wants to learn to sail, but that is not a priority at the moment.
