Every year, there are millions of dollars that go unclaimed. Essentially, money owed to you that never made it. Those companies and agencies report that to the State and it sits in UNCLAIMED FUNDS. There could be some for you!!
Just a quick search of 'SHERRODSVILLE' and many familiar names resulted.
You can search for yours at the Ohio Department of Commerce. There are instructions to follow to help you claim your money.

We thought we'd put together some Fun Facts every Friday 😃
Little tid bits about the Village of Sherrodsville you may not have known!
Fun Fact #1 -- The Village has been run for over a hundred years by elected residents to serve a 4 year term. One Mayor and 6 Council people.
The Mayor and Council Seats #1 & #2 are elected in the same year.
Then two years later the remaining four Council Seats #3,4,5,& 6 are elected.
The Village now appoints a Fiscal Officer though it had been an elected position at one time. Before that, it was an elected Clerk Treasurer. And before that it was two positions; an elected Clerk and an elected Treasurer.
Currently the Mayor's Salary is $150/month. Council people earn $40/month. And the Fiscal Officer is paid $786/month. See less

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CV CLASS OF 2026!!

Reminder: Graduation will be this Friday night at 7:00pm. Doors open at 5:30pm. All students must attend the mandatory practice Thursday morning at 8:00am in order to take part in the graduation ceremony.
