Concessions will open at 5:00 PM, and the game starts at 5:30 PM.

🌸 A huge thank you to Fiddlehead Floral & Gifts for doing such a beautiful job on the floral centerpieces for tonight’s Mother’s Day Dance! The centerpieces are absolutely beautiful, and the single roses for our attending moms are the perfect special touch. Thank you so much again, Christine, for helping make this evening extra special for our families! 💐❤️

🚶‍♀️ SHERMAN REC WALKING HOURS 🚶‍♂️

Looking for a warm, safe, handicap accessible place to stay active this spring and summer? Join us for morning walking hours at the Sherman Rec Department!

🗓 Monday – Friday
⏰ 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

❗Please Note:
• Walking hours follow the Sherman Town Office holiday schedule
• If the Town Office is closed for a holiday, the gym will also be closed

🚧 TEMPORARY GYM CLOSURE 🚧
The Sherman Rec gym will be temporarily closed May 25th – June 11th, 2026 for our floor rebuff & repolish project.

Once the gym reopens, the Sherman Rec Department will be exploring different avenues to help preserve and protect the newly refinished floors as best as possible. This may include requesting tennis balls on walkers to help prevent dragging and floor damage, along with potentially other preventative measures. Any updates, requirements, or changes will be announced at a later date once plans are finalized.

☕ Coffee will continue to be available during walking hours! If using Rec coffee, we kindly ask that you either leave a small donation or feel free to bring your own.

💲 Beginning June 2026:
Walking admission pricing will increase from 50¢ per person to $1.00 per person to help offset operational and maintenance costs.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work to maintain and improve our community facility for everyone! ❤️

This closure is necessary as we complete a floor rebuffing & repolishing project to help maintain and improve our gym floor. During this time, the gym will be unavailable for:

…and all other indoor gym usage.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this work is being completed. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to a refreshed gym floor soon!

The Emerald Ash Borer has recently been discovered in Benedicta, and an informational session is being hosted to help educate our communities on what this means for our forests and ash trees.
