This morning was a bittersweet experience as our teachers and staff indulged in a "batter up for the last time" breakfast. We will treasure the memories of these mornings at our beloved Wakefield Elementary School.

✨Teacher Appreciation Week Spotlight! ✨
Our amazing teachers and staff were energized on Wednesday with a delicious hamburger and hot dog luncheon, all thanks to the culinary talents of our fabulous Wakefield dads! Then on Thursday, they were treated to a beautiful charcuterie spread that celebrated their tireless dedication and hard work.
Thank you to our lovely PTA mom’s setup!

We started Teacher appreciation week off strong for the first two days with game day snacks and water bar in the lounge monday, and walking banana pudding today! We’re in our baseball era and *going out with a bang* for Wakefield’s last year 💙🐴⚾️🧢

The Wakefield Elementary Color Run is just around the corner, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make it an unforgettable day for our students!

Event Date: Thursday, May 1, 2025
Location: Wakefield Elementary
Time: During PE Classes
• 2nd Grade: 8:00 – 8:55 AM
• 3rd Grade: 9:00 – 9:55 AM
• 4th Grade: 10:00 – 10:55 AM
• 5th Grade: 11:00 – 11:55 AM
• Kindergarten: 12:30 – 1:25 PM
• 1st Grade: 1:30 – 2:25 PM

Whether you can help with set-up, hand out water, toss color powder, or simply cheer on our runners, we’d love to have you join us!

This is a fun, high-energy event our kids look forward to all year — and it wouldn’t be possible without amazing volunteers like you!

Our amazing Challenge students are taking the lead on this event from start to finish – planning, budgeting, gathering supplies, and running hands-on learning stations for their fellow students.

But they could use your help!
