The City of Sherman continues to experience strong residential development activity in 2026. In May, applications were submitted for an additional 68 single-family homes. Combined with previously proposed duplex and townhome projects, a total of 261 residential units have been requested year-to-date, keeping development activity on pace with the last two years.
