Latest Update PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This program is being offered by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture: Cooperative Extension Service and is a program that has been designated for 6 central Arkansas counties: Pulaski, Saline, Perry, Grant, Faulkner and Lonoke. You will be asked to provide the location of where the trees will be planted in Grant County. Since this program is a funded by a grant, future communication about the trees planted may be requested from the extension office. Please see the link to the program in the comments for more information. If you meet the criteria, please join us Monday, September 14, 2026, from 5-7pm at the Grant County Library. Representatives from the Grant County Cooperative Extension will be onsite to facilitate ordering. Thank you all for your interest in this program!

Congratulations to our Stars, Stripes & Stamps Scavenger Hunt winner, Angela Frye!

Angela’s ticket was drawn in the raffle, and she has chosen to donate the $250 prize to the Grant County Library. We truly appreciate her generosity.

Thank you to everyone who participated. It was so neat to see citizens get out, explore Sheridan, and celebrate the places and people that make our community what it is.

Plus the finale on Friday, Jurassic Experience! Interactive dinosaurs, a fossil dig, and games were a part of the fun to celebrate meeting summer goals! Grand prizes were drawn for those that completed the reading challenge and attended the required number of activities. Over 64,000 minutes of reading were logged this summer! Wow!! Thank you to all who participated and to all that completed the minimum 1800 minute challenge, congratulations! Thank you also to all of our sponsors for prizes! We made a special post just for y’all! We couldn’t do it without you!
