🐾 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐮𝐩, 𝐊𝟗 𝐑𝐁! 🐾

RB is a three-year-old Belgian Malinois from Holland and is trained as a dual-purpose K9, certified in apprehension, narcotics detection, and tracking.

RB hit the streets back in March, and is partnered with Sgt. Dewey Abney on one of our night shifts. In just a short six months together so far, the duo have been involved in numerous drug seizures and arrests, helping to keep our city safe.

Let’s give some virtual belly rubs and a tennis ball to RB!

🐾 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝟗 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲. 𝐇𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 💣 🐾

Billy is a German Short-Haired Pointer from Hungary and specializes in explosives detection, building searches, and area searches. He is Westfield PD’s only bomb dog. The Indianapolis Colts donated the funds for Billy as part of their partnership with the City of Westfield. 🤝

Billy is partnered with Sgt. Song Kang, who serves as the Westfield Police Department Training Coordinator. 👮🏼‍♂️🐕‍🦺
