Congratulations to Vanessa for completing her NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Junior Naturalist Journal! We have these journals available at the Visitors Center, and any adventurous youth who complete their journal can get their Junior Naturalist Patch from us, too.

To complete her journal, Vanessa and her family explored Rogers Center & the Adams Farm property, Chittenango Falls, the trails at Green Lakes, Bowman Lake, Niagara Falls, Limekiln, Raquette Lake, Fourth Lake, Town of Webb public lands and trails, and more.

Youth five through twelve years old can request a Junior Naturalist Journal from Rogers Center or other participating DEC facilities. The colorful activity book gives children the opportunity to test their environmental knowledge while teaching them more about New York State's environment. We have booklets for this program every year.

Well done Vanessa!
