Sunday BCEMS spent the day training with our friends Southeast Bullitt Fire Department at Bernheim Forest , first responders covered search techniques and patient packaging and extrication from a wilderness environment. It was a great day of training and team building.

Bullitt County EMS is rallying behind a brave 9-month-old girl named Miley, who is courageously battling Hepatoblastoma (childhood liver cancer) and is undergoing chemotherapy. Miley continues to show incredible strength and resilience every day, inspiring everyone around her.

To support her and her family during this difficult journey, Bullitt County EMS has set a fundraising goal of $5,000, once reached Ryan Clark will shave off his beard in a way to show support! Every donation, big or small, helps bring relief to Miley and her loved ones as they face this challenge together!

Good afternoon citizens of Bullitt County! This will be our second year donating backpacks to the schools in our county. Last year we were able to donate multiple backpacks to every elementary school. This year we are hoping to donate 15 backpacks to every high school. These backpacks will be filled with school supplies and each bag with have a hygiene kit! We as an EMS service will be collecting donations until August 1st, so we can have everything ready for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year! The flyer attached to this post are all the things we are needing, if you can help BCEMS would be greatly appreciated📚✏️📓🚑💙
