Bullitt County 4-H

Bullitt County 4-H We are a group of young people across America who learn leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H is the largest youth organization in America.

It involves young people ages 9-19. 4-H members participate in club meetings and "learn by doing" in a variety of project areas. Some of these projects include speech and demonstrations, electric, woodcraft, photography, foods, and much more. Each member can participate in the project area(s) of their choice. The 4 "H's" stand for HEAD, HEART, HANDS and HEALTH. They represent the fourfold training and development that 4-H members receive.

🍀Throughout the program year there are other activities and events that become available. They will be posted on our 4-H page or website.

🍀Currently, the Bullitt County Cooperative Extension Office is undergoing renovations. All activities not held at schools will have specific locations. Make sure you know location information before attending 4-H programs.

🍀If you would like to start a club or volunteer with Bullitt County 4-H, fill out the volunteer section of the brochure and return to our office.

From clubs and camps to STEM, shooting sports, leadership, livestock, and more, there's a place for every young person in 4-H.

Start by connecting with your local Extension Office, then enroll through 4-H Online to begin exploring opportunities near you.

Good Afternoon 4-H families! We greatly appreciate how many of you have already created or updated your profiles in 4-H online.

If you have yet to do so, when prompted to select your unit or club please select "4-H Bullitt County". When prompted to select your group please select "4-H Bullitt Member". Then when prompted to select a project please only select "Exploring 4-H." As youth start attending programs, such as Photography Club, staff will then enter those youth into other projects.

There are several state level projects listed in the projects section, and not every county is able to offer each of those. Our office is still utilizing Acuity for event signups, where we post a link to a sign-up page, so please be sure that you are using those links to sign up for events to make sure there is a spot for your youth and to know which events are actively happening.
