Today, we finished our 2nd 6-week TEMPO exercise session! Our health educator Cameron Burkeen performed exercises using dumbbells and resistance bands with the group that spurred creatively with different movements. Over time, we were able to work on building endurance with shorter rest periods and longer working minutes. Our group has put in tons of hard work with results they have seen carried over into their daily activities- He could not be prouder of these ladies and gentlemen for their dedication! Throughout the 6-weeks, new friendships were formed, established friendships have flourished, and both Cameron and the group were able to discover new music through exercise!

We look forward to seeing familiar and new faces during our 3rd TEMPO session that will begin after the holiday! Contact us at 502-955-5355 to learn about the next classes.

Join the Bullitt County Health Department's Mobile Unit at the Dare to Care Food Distribution at the Jim Eadens Resource Center as we come together to make our community healthier and safer.

Stop by for FREE overdose prevention supplies and health resources, including:
✔️ Narcan (naloxone)
✔️ Fentanyl testing strips

✔️ Community resources
🩺 FREE, confidential HIV testing will also be available, and everyone who gets tested will receive a FREE gift card while supplies last!
