๐Ÿšจ PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ๐Ÿšจ

With a forecasted snowstorm expected this weekend, residents are advised to prepare for inclement weather conditions that may be potentially dangerous.

๐Ÿ‘ฎ Shepherdstown Police Department will have officers on duty 24/7 throughout the weekend and into next week to ensure public safety.

๐Ÿ“ž Emergency: Call 911

๐Ÿ“ž Non-Emergency: 304-725-8484

Residents needing to speak with an officer for non-emergency matters may contact the non-emergency number listed above.

๐Ÿค We ask community members to check on and assist neighbors when possible, especially those who may need extra helpโ€”but please do not overexert yourselves.

๐Ÿšง Please remember that while Shepherdstown Public Works typically does an excellent job maintaining roads within town, road conditions outside of town limits may not be the same. For your safety and the safety of first responders, limit travel during the storm unless absolutely necessary.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our community safe. Stay warm and stay safe. โ„๏ธ

Seat belts save livesโ€”donโ€™t take the risk. Buckle up every trip, every time! Itโ€™s simple: Click It or Ticket!

From March 7-25, drivers in West Virginia are more likely to get pulled over and cited for a certain violation.
