Goodies & Games with Grandparents!

Shepherd Intermediate invites our grandparents to join us for an evening filled with treats, games, and special memories! We’ll play bingo and have door prizes, too!

Grandparents with students at both Shepherd Primary and Shepherd Intermediate may choose which campus celebration they would like to attend. You do not have to visit both campuses.

5th grade science students tested the density of different liquids and objects to determine which material had the lowest density and which one had the highest density.

Our 4th graders used the Scientific Method, teamwork, problem-solving, and writing skills to save Sam from his sticky situation! They worked together, tested their ideas, and reflected on the experience through writing.

Shepherd Primary and Intermediate students are invited to show their Pirate pride by participating in our Homecoming Dress-Up Days from September 28 through October 2! Check out the flyer for each day’s theme, and remember that all outfits must be school-appropriate.

Good evening Pirates,
Due to continued monitoring of weather and road conditions, Shepherd ISD will operate on a 2-hour delayed start on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. This delay allows additional time for travel conditions to improve while prioritizing the safety of our students and staff. All campuses will begin the school day two hours later than normal, and bus routes will also run two hours later than their usual schedule: All campuses - Start time @ 9:45am
We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the morning and will communicate any additional updates as needed. Please continue to watch official Shepherd ISD communication channels for the latest information.
