Sing, act, dance, and discover the magic of the stage with Starlight Musical Theatre for Homeschoolers!

Led by Miss Clarissa, this structured program teaches students how to tell stories through song while developing foundational singing, acting, and dance skills. Creative drama games and improv-based warmups help build confidence, imagination, and stage presence. Each four-week session concludes with a mini showcase for families in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Classes meet on Thursdays at The AMP at Sam Michaels Park:

Ages 7–9: 1:00–1:45 PM | $80
Ages 10–12: 2:00–3:00 PM | $90

Session 1: September 24–October 15
Session 2: October 22–November 19

This fun, instructional program helps players develop dribbling, shooting, defensive skills, and an understanding of the basic rules of basketball. Classes are designed to build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a strong foundation for the game.

Registration is open for JCPRC’s Adult Co-ed Dodgeball League! Grab some friends, build your team, and get ready for a fun and competitive six-week season.

Teams will have 6–8 players, with five players on the court at a time. Matches will feature two 20-minute halves packed with as many games as we can fit in! Whether you’re looking to compete, stay active, or just have some fun, this league is for you.

Registration closes September 4th, so don’t wait!

Resident: $20 per player

Spend a memorable night under the stars at Camp at the Amp!

Gather your family and friends for a fun and relaxing overnight camping experience close to home. Each family registration includes a private campsite, a shared fire pit with a neighboring campsite, and a s’mores kit for a classic camping treat.

After setting up camp, enjoy time outdoors, connect with other campers, and settle in for a special outdoor movie screening once the sun goes down.

Participants must bring their own camping supplies, including a tent, bedding, chairs, food, drinks, and any additional gear needed for a comfortable overnight stay.

Whether your family loves camping or wants to try it for the first time, Camp at the Amp is a great way to enjoy the outdoors without traveling far from home. Space is limited, so register early to reserve your campsite!

Indoor Playground starts TODAY!

Bring your little ones to the Jefferson County Community Center for a day of active indoor fun! Children ages 1–5 can bounce in the brand-new Mickey Park Moon Bounce, ride scooters and tricycles, explore the gymnastics mats, and enjoy plenty of room to play.

Indoor Playground is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM–2:30 PM at Sam Michaels Park.

Admission is $5 per child. Memberships are also available for 10 visits: $40 for residents or $45 for non-residents.
