September already!?! We have had a beautiful summer with lots of growth in town that we all will see soon. Phase two in Wildcat Estates was approved to move forward, opening up more lots to be sold and developed. There will be some changes to downtown businesses with some new ones coming in. At one of my son's soccer games a parent from another town said, "man Shellsburg is really hoppin" and I agree. It's great to see businesses and community groups come together to make all this possible. This community is awesome because of all the people who make it up. Thanks for being here. -Shadoe-

Today around 3pm Pearl St will be full of life as we welcome Kyles Miles suicide/bullying awareness motorcycle ride. There will be over 300 motorcycles that will be parked across the street during this time. Please remember to use the parking lots surrounding downtown if you plan on visiting any businesses this afternoon.
