Shelley - Firth Fire District

We closed out 2025 with a successful intra-county water RESCUE! In a combined effort between Bingham County Sheriff's Office, Shelley Police Department and the volunteers of Shelley - Firth Fire District, Shelley-Firth Ambulance and Bingham County Search and Rescue - the single occupant of a vehicle, which entered the icy waters of the snake river, was safely rescued from the vehicle and transported by ambulance. The vehicle was also successfully recovered from the river shortly before the official end of 2025. We would like to thank everyone involved and the community for their continued support. Thank you AnheuserBusch and NVFC1 for the generous donation of emergency drinking water, and to for A-B wholesale delivering it to our fire station! This water will help keep our firefighters hydrated during wildfires and extended responses in extreme heat.

Your Shelley Firemen got to be apart of Riverview Elementarys end of year water party. Thank you Fireman Poulsen and Fireman Foster for winning at the water fight. Also the kids got to see one of our Shelley-Firth Ambulance units as well. Great turn out for us all.

Hello all, we are doing an open house at the shelley fire station tomorrow Saturday the 15th from 9 to 2. We have something going on for the whole family. Come meet the firemen, check out the station and the tools on the trucks. Learn about fire safety and see what it takes to be a volunteer fire fighter. We have a little fireman's corse for the kids. Cookies and refreshments for all who come. Thanks for being a awesome community.

The Shelley-Firth fire district along with the Shelley-Firth Ambulance will be participating in this event. Bring the family and come down to the shelley fire station and learn about being a volunteer fire fighter. We will be doing station tours, answering questions and have a little fireman's obstacle course for the kids. Drinks and refreshments will be available.
