Serving on a jury is an intimidating responsibility that continues to be a cornerstone of the justice system. Thousands of individuals fulfill this duty annually in the State of Wisconsin alone. September 2026 has been recognized as Juror Appreciation Month in the State of Wisconsin.

Attached are two proclamations declaring September as Juror Appreciation Month, one signed by Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice, Jill J. Karofsky and the other signed by Governor Tony Evers.

COURT UPDATE on Cyber Attack -

Our phone and fax lines continue to be down.

Our office is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. All court hearings are proceeding as scheduled unless you have been contacted by the clerk.

Our e-filing system is not affected. Www.wicourts.gov

Zoom remains available for some hearings with prior approval of the court. Please contact your attorney to timely file the appropriate forms GF-106 and GF-107. Please note zoom is ONLY permitted with prior approval of the court!

Our office is open. At this time, our CCAP system is not affected by the county’s cyber attack and we are business as usual. However, Our phone lines are currently down.

This is a scam. The WBSO would not call you regarding this. Notice regarding Jury Duty is typically communicated through correspondence by US Mail.
