Big upgrades in the VFW Post 5019 kitchen! 🍳🧊

We are incredibly excited to show off our brand-new stove/oven/flat-top range and our new ice maker! Having gear this reliable makes a world of difference for our ability to serve our veterans and our community.

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our recent mower raffle. Your support directly funded this equipment upgrade. Of course that raffle wouldn't have even been possible without Rodney Molder at Molder's Outdoor Power , thanks again for your support.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our brothers in the American Legion #23 Shelbyville, TN for their generous donation that helped make this possible. Together, you are strengthening our Post!

We can't forget the VFW members that worked all week to make sure this project was fulfilled, you know your names, thanks brothers.

We are firing up the new kitchen for next month's breakfast fundraiser and we look forward to it being a smooth, high-quality experience for all of you.

In the meantime, don't forget—tonight is our monthly Music Night! Come on down, pull up a chair, and enjoy some great tunes. We’ll see you there, doors open at 5, music at 6pm. Potluck as always.

We’re heading down to the water’s edge on Tuesday, June 23rd, and we need your help to clean up our riverfront!

VFW Post 5019 is hosting a community brush-clearing and grounds-maintenance day. We’re working to keep our Duck River access point safe, accessible, and clean for every angler, family, and nature lover in Bedford County.

Looking for community service hours?
This is the perfect way to get them in while supporting a veteran-led nonprofit! We’ll be weed-eating, clearing brush, trimming trees, and hauling debris.
