📸 Help us preserve 100 years of Shelbyville Rotary history!

The Rotary Club of Shelbyville was chartered in May 1927, and we’re preparing to celebrate our 100th anniversary in May 2027. We need the community’s help telling the story of a century of “Service Above Self” in Shelby County.

We’re searching for:

• Photographs and newspaper clippings
• Old programs, directories, tickets and letters
• Rotary pins, awards, banners and memorabilia
• Scrapbooks and items from past events
• Stories and memories from former members, scholarship recipients, community partners and local families

We’re especially interested in former members and past presidents, community service projects, Pancake Breakfasts, fundraisers, scholarships, exchange students, youth programs, former meeting locations and memorable moments from every decade.

Items may be:

✅ Donated to our permanent archives
✅ Loaned for the anniversary celebration
✅ Scanned or photographed and returned
✅ Emailed to us digitally

The materials may be included in historical displays, a centennial timeline, slideshows and videos, our anniversary program, social media and the club’s permanent archive.

Even something that seems small could help fill an important gap in our history—so please check those attics, scrapbooks, photo albums and keepsake boxes!
