Congratulations to our Executive Director!

The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is proud to congratulate Aaron Garofola on being selected for and successfully completing the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Fellowship for Civic Leadership.

This statewide program brings together leaders committed to strengthening Kentucky through civic engagement, public service, and free enterprise. Aaron’s participation reflects his dedication to serving our members and advancing Shelby County’s future.

We’re honored to share this special message from Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman following the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce & Shelby County Industrial & Development Foundation Annual Stakeholders Luncheon.

Her heartfelt tribute to Governor Martha Layne Collins reminded us all of the extraordinary legacy left by Kentucky’s first and only female governor. It was a privilege to recognize Governor Collins’ impact on our Commonwealth and celebrate her deep Shelby County roots alongside community leaders, family members, and guests from across the region.

Thank you, Lt. Governor Coleman, for joining us and helping honor a true Kentucky trailblazer whose leadership continues to inspire generations.
