We had another great SPARK at Lawyers Land & Title!

It was exciting to see several new faces joining us, along with so many familiar faces who continue to show up, invest, and build relationships within our business community.

The connections, collaboration, and conversations that happen through SPARK are what make it so valuable. It’s more than networking — it’s discovering the people behind the businesses, learning about the resources right here in Bedford County, and finding ways we can support and strengthen one another.

A special thank you to Lawyer’s Land & Title for hosting us and welcoming our Chamber members. When businesses come together, relationships grow — and those relationships are what continue moving our community forward.

Celebrate America's 250th at Stars, Stripes & Shelbyville Nights!
Join Bedford County, the City of Shelbyville, and the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 3rd, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on the south side of the Bedford County Courthouse as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday with an evening of patriotism, community, music, and family fun.

This special event will honor the military men and women who have fought for our country and protected the freedoms we enjoy today. The celebration will also include a Time Capsule Burial, patriotic activities, and a community parade. We encourage everyone to dress in their patriotic best, bring lawn chairs, and enjoy an evening in downtown Shelbyville.

The evening's entertainment will feature James Rogers, along with the kickoff concert for the 2026 Levitt AMP Shelbyville Music Series, featuring Mike Corrado and opening act DJ Sovereign.

This event is a celebration of our nation's history, our community's pride, and the people who make Bedford County such a special place to call home. Gather your family, invite your friends, and join us as we celebrate 250 years of America and the bright future ahead.

We are excited to welcome the All American Youth Barrel Race to our community, bringing approximately 800 horses and some of the most talented young riders from across the country right here to Bedford County.

Events like this are about so much more than the competition — they create a true economic impact for our community. Families, competitors, and visitors are staying in our hotels, eating in our restaurants, shopping with our local businesses, purchasing fuel and supplies, and experiencing everything Shelbyville has to offer.

The show grounds are full of energy, and we love seeing our community come alive as we welcome visitors who quickly discover why Bedford County is such a special place. ❤️

Make plans to stop by, watch these incredible athletes compete, and enjoy the excitement! While you’re there, visit Grindstone Cowboy Express on the Celebration grounds for great food and drinks. ☕🍴

Today, the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce, alongside the State of Tennessee Re-Entry Program agency and many regional agencies, came together at the Bedford County Sheriff's Office TN for an important first step — developing the Southern Middle Tennessee Re-Entry Coalition.

This coalition is focused on finding real solutions that create pathways for individuals during incarceration and after release — connecting them with training, resources, opportunities, and support systems that help them break cycles and step into a life of purpose, stability, and success.

A special thank you to Lynda Botsch, Bedford County Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Chair, who also serves with the State of Tennessee Workforce Development Board. Lynda continues to be a connector — bringing the right people to the table, identifying needs within our community, and helping create solutions that impact lives and strengthen our workforce.

The question asked today was powerful:
“As a community, what are we doing to break cycles, change lives, and create opportunities?”

When we help people discover their purpose, develop skills, and find a path forward, we don’t just change one life — we impact families, businesses, and future generations.

We are proud to see Bedford County leading this initiative and honored that the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office will be the pilot program.

This is what happens when a community comes together — identifying challenges, building partnerships, and choosing to be part of the solution.

Today we celebrated the NOW Foundation of Bedford Co. — a foundation built on seeing opportunity in people and stepping in with the resources, encouragement, and support they need to move forward.

What made today special was not just the celebration of an organization, but seeing a community come together to support a mission that believes in people — their potential, their future, and the opportunities still ahead of them.

When a community chooses to invest in others, lives change. Thank you to the N.O.W. Foundation for reminding us that every person has value, every story matters, and no opportunity should be wasted. ❤️
