Thank you the food was delicious! We appreciate all your time and hard work that went into cooking our meal and raising funds to cover the cost!

We set a goal of $1,200 to cover the food cost for approximately 225 people at the Annual Cancer Bash.

Flame Kissed BBQ donated all of the cooking and prep labor, and YOU — our customers, friends, musicians, players and this amazing community — stepped up and covered the food.

From Bingo for the Bash, DJ Trivia, pool players, Karaoke for a Cause, the donation buckets, and everyone who came out for Black Belt Jones Saturday night… every single dollar added up.

Some gave a dollar. Some gave five. Some gave more. Some shared our posts and helped spread the word.

IT ALL MATTERED.

We asked if our little bar and this community could come together and raise $1,200.

You answered with $1,221. ❤️

To everyone who donated, participated, shared, sang, played, showed up or helped us pull this off — THANK YOU.

And a HUGE thank you to Black Belt Jones, DJ Justin, our Bingo and Trivia crews, our staff, and everyone else who helped us turn a food bill into a fundraiser.

Thank you for doing this for us!

🎗️❤️ WE HAVE A GOAL — AND WE NEED OUR KENDALL'S FAMILY! ❤️🎗️

Flame Kissed BBQ has been asked to provide the meal at the Annual Cancer Bash on September 12th.

We're serving pulled pork, pulled chicken, buns & BBQ sauces, au gratin potatoes, mac & cheese, green beans and corn.

The cost we quoted for all of that food is $1,200 — and that is FOOD COST ONLY.

Flame Kissed BBQ is donating all of the time and labor that goes into preparing and cooking it. ❤️

But then we had an idea...

What if our Kendall's family could raise the $1,200 for the food, too?

If we reach our goal, the Cancer Bash won't have to pay Flame Kissed BBQ for the meal at all. The money we raise will cover the food expense, and Flame Kissed BBQ will provide the cooking and labor.

Starting now, you'll find donation containers at Kendall's, and we're planning some fun ways to help us get there—including KARAOKE FOR A CAUSE next Friday with DJ Justin! 🎤

Every dollar matters. $1, $5, $10—it all gets us closer.

And if we can raise the entire $1,200?

We hand the Cancer Bash a $0 food bill. ❤️

That's what we're trying to accomplish.

Our office will be closing at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 11 as we prepare for our Annual Cancer Bash on Saturday evening!

This event is SOLD OUT!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sponsored, donated, volunteered, purchased tickets, and supported this event in any way. Your generosity and support make this special evening possible and help us continue making a difference in the fight against cancer.

We’ll be busy getting everything ready for an amazing night, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
