[SHELBYVILLE, Ind.] September 8, 2026 โ€” The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2026โ€“2027 class of Leadership Shelby County. The new class kicks off its Leadership Shelby County experience today, bringing together 20 professionals from businesses and organizations throughout the community for a year of leadership development, relationship building and community engagement.

Leadership Shelby County is designed to develop and connect current and emerging leaders while providing participants with a deeper understanding of the people, organizations, industries and opportunities that shape Shelby County. Throughout the program, participants will take part in hands-on experiences, conversations with community leaders, site visits and collaborative activities focused on strengthening their leadership skills and expanding their community connections.

Along the way, they will meet local leaders, visit businesses and organizations, and gain a broader understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing Shelby County.
