The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce was honored to participate in today’s event hosted by the Shelby County Active Aging Coalition in recognition of The Longest Day and the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
On behalf of the Chamber, Executive Director Courtney Chapella had the privilege of reading a proclamation recognizing this important day of awareness, support, and advocacy for the millions of individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
We are grateful for the work of the Shelby County Active Aging Coalition and the many community partners who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults and supporting caregivers throughout our community.
Together, we can help raise awareness, support those affected, and work toward a future without Alzheimer’s.
