The staff visited the Special Needs Class at Fellowship for Christ July 2, 2025. We had such a great time with these special people. Cameron talked about the life cycle of a seed and showed them a model of one growing. They really enjoyed making soil babies. Even a couple of the volunteers made one as well. We left them with a goodie bag.

The staff visited the Boys & Girls Club students to make soil babies. To make a soil baby you need a knee-high stocking, soil and seeds. You place the seed in the toe of the knee high, add soil, shape it into a ball and then tie it off. Then the kids decorate them. They get to take them home with instruction on how to care for them and show their parents. The District would like to thank First Community Bank and People Bank of Middle Tennessee for sponsoring the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize and sending Kayla Hilliard from First Community Bank, Kayla Walls from People Bank and our very own Cameron Bennett for judging the babies.
