Today our residents enjoyed decorating our 4th of July tree, filling it with patriotic spirit, laughter, and creativity. Activities like these are more than decorations—they bring back cherished memories, encourage socialization, and remind us of the pride and joy that come with celebrating our nation’s independence.

A birthday that passes year after year. Decorating a Christmas tree. Sitting on a porch with a precious grandchild. Enjoying a 4th of July cookout with fireworks or attending a family reunion. Waking up early to prepare their own breakfast. Feeling the sudden urge to bake a cake, or sharing lunch with a special friend.
These are just a few of the simple joys that many of our seniors no longer get to experience as they once did.
But they are not forgotten.
God still sees them, loves them, and has them covered. Every smile, every conversation, every activity, and every moment of companionship matters.
I thank God for allowing me to serve in a position where I can add purpose, joy, and meaning to the lives of seniors. For me, it’s more than a job—it is a calling. A calling to love, encourage, and remind them that they are valued every single day.
❤️ Seniors matter. Their stories matter. Their lives matter.

Even though our budget is limited, we find ways to overcome challenges through love, dedication, and commitment. It’s not about how much money we have—it’s about how much heart we put into making our residents feel valued, engaged, and loved. Every smile, reminds us that compassion is one of the greatest resources we can offer. ❤️

🎉 It’s Friiiidaaay at Cleveland House! 🎉

Today was filled with fun, laughter, and Gumball Bingo with our amazing residents! The excitement was contagious as residents enjoyed the games, fellowship, and sweet treats. We were also blessed to have some of our staff’s children join in the fun, creating special moments and bringing extra smiles to everyone’s faces.

A special thank you to Pastor Albert Hillman for sharing encouraging words and reminding us that no matter what we face, God is still good.

Days like these remind us of the joy that comes from bringing generations together and creating meaningful memories.

God is still good. Hearts are full. Spirits are lifted.

Some of the best memories aren’t from expensive equipment or complicated plans—they come from made-up games created with imagination, laughter, and a little friendly competition. Our residents prove every day that fun doesn’t have to be fancy. Whether it’s tossing a ball into a basket, creating silly challenges, or inventing a brand-new game on the spot, the excitement is real. The smiles, cheering, and laughter remind us that joy has no age limit. At Cleveland House, we don’t just play games—we create moments that bring people together and keep the fun alive. 🎉❤️
