🚧 Upcoming Construction Start Timeframes (Subject to Change) 🚧

We’re sharing these updates to help residents know when construction is expected to begin for upcoming infrastructure projects in the Village:

🔹 South Michigan Water Main & Service Line Replacement and Road Reconstruction Project (Includes repaving of Bennett and Grant)
📅 Expected start: Mid-August

🔹 Service Line Replacement Project (146 Homes)
📅 Anticipated start: Late July to Early August

Please note that all start dates are estimates and may change due to weather or other factors. We appreciate your patience and understanding as these important improvements get underway.

Thank you to the American Legion Post #30 - Shelby 49455 for organizing the Shelby Memorial Day parade and service as you have done for so many years! Special thanks to the Shelby High School - TigerPride band, as well as all the organizations, speakers, and participants who helped make the event meaningful.

As we pause to reflect this Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.

Thank you to Alex Katt and the landscaping crew at A-Katt’s Complete Care for their generous in-kind contribution in honoring those we’ve lost. By placing flags throughout our community, they’ve helped foster a visible spirit of patriotism as we approach our 250th anniversary.

We also extend our deep appreciation to Brian Fessenden and the American Legion for organizing this year’s Memorial Day parade and service. Everyone is invited to come together in remembrance on Monday at 10 a.m. to pay tribute to those who gave all.

Let us unite as a community in gratitude, reflection, and pride.
