Shelby Area District Library

Shelby Area District Library Shelby Area District Library's service area includes a population of 11,377 residents of southern Oceana County.

The library has a long history dating back to 1907 when it was formed as a village library. The District Library was organized in 1993 when the Township and Village of Shelby joined together and a library millage for 1.5 mills was passed by voters of the district in 1994. The library also provides services to the residents of Benona, Claybanks, Ferry, Otto, and Grant Townships through annual contr

acts. Residents in townships not served by the library pay a yearly fee for a library card. If a resident has a MiLibrary Card from their home library, this fee is waived. Library Director: Tiffany Haight

The canvas is called "Mountains at Night" and we will use a canvas panel, acrylic paints in pastel colors, saran wrap, and a gold paint pen to create a gorgeous piece of art.
