Meet Barbara Wray đź’™

Barbara has faithfully served at Hope & Love Rescue Mission for many years, welcoming residents and their children with warmth, kindness, and compassion. Her caring spirit helps create a place where people feel seen, valued, and at home.

As our Financial Assistant, Barbara serves with excellence behind the scenes while also pouring love into the lives of those around her each day. Outside of the Mission, she enjoys being active in her church and spending time with her family, including her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

We are so thankful for Barbara and the heart she brings to Hope & Love Rescue Mission every single day. ✨

We’re grateful for the leadership and heart of David, President & Executive Director of Hope & Love Rescue Mission.

With years of ministry and nonprofit experience, David has dedicated his life to helping others find healing, hope, and restoration. Before joining Hope & Love Rescue Mission, he faithfully served in several leadership roles at Western Carolina Rescue Ministries, helping lead recovery programs, discipleship efforts, and development initiatives that impacted countless lives.

David is also passionate about encouraging others in their faith journey through books and resources focused on restoration and healthy relationships with God and others.

Thank you, David, for your servant leadership and for the compassion and hope you bring to those we serve each day!

• Aluminum foil

Miriam's Hope House walks alongside women in this transition by offering a safe place to stay at a deeply affordable rate, practical resources, life skills, and Christ-centered encouragement as they rebuild stability and independence.

We believe healing and restoration grow in the right environment and that when one life is restored, it can change the future for generations.
