Detective Corr and Patrolman Folley had a fantastic time joining students, families, and staff at Phoenix Learning Center's End-of-the-Year Celebration!

Phoenix Learning Center is a K–12 educational institution dedicated to serving children with special needs through a multidisciplinary approach that combines academic instruction, therapeutic support, life skills development, and a strong focus on social-emotional learning.

The students enjoyed exploring one of our patrol vehicles, meeting our officers, and learning more about law enforcement in a fun and interactive setting. Events like these help strengthen the relationships between our department and the community we proudly serve.

Thank you to Phoenix Learning Center for the invitation and for all you do to support and empower your students each day. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing summer!

Keeping our smallest passengers safe is one of our biggest priorities. 👶🚔

Detective Corr of the Sheffield Village Police Department is a certified Car Seat Technician and is available to assist with proper car seat installation and safety education.

Is that Detective Corr pulling a shift at the McDonald's drive-thru window? Not necessarily, Detective Corr was partnering with the Ohio Safe Driver Coalition and their "Buckle Up For Burgers" campaign. Safety minded folks were issued a citation for a free burger while those folks unfortunate to not be buckled up received a stern finger wave and a quick word about seat belt use. Please remember to "Buckle Up" while behind the wheel and it could earn you a free meal.

Yesterday, members of the Sheffield Village Police Department attended the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Parade and Service.

The event brought agencies from across the region together to honor and remember the courageous officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. This year, the service held special meaning for our department as we continued to remember Officer Phillip C. Wagner, who began his law enforcement career with the Sheffield Village Police Department before serving with the Lorain Police Department.

We continue to keep Officer Wagner, all fallen heroes, and their loved ones in our thoughts. 🖤💙

Today, as we observe Peace Officers Memorial Day during National Police Week, we pause to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting their communities. Their bravery, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

Some of our Officers and Dispatchers traveled to Washington, D.C. this week to attend the National Law Enforcement Memorial events and stand alongside agencies from across the country in honoring the fallen; especially Officer Phillip C. Wagner, whose service to both the Lorain Police Department and Sheffield Village Police Department touched the lives of so many and continues to leave a lasting impact.

May we always remember and honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of all fallen officers. 🖤💙

During National Police Week, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to Mrs. Ketchum, Dispatcher Perkins, and Ptlm. Perkins for the thoughtful and generous gifts provided to all of our officers.

Your kindness, support, and appreciation mean a great deal to the members of the Sheffield Village Police Department. Gestures like these remind our officers how fortunate we are to serve such a caring community.

During National Police Week, the Sheffield Village Police Department proudly honors the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of law enforcement officers everywhere; especially those who serve our community each day.

We recognize the long hours, difficult calls, and sacrifices made both on and off duty. We also remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their bravery will never be forgotten.
