Freedom Cry, Inc. had 139.5 volunteer hours which represented 26.622% of the total. They earned $984.62, which included a $200 bonus for having the second most volunteer hours.

The investigation began after the department received a tip on Dec. 29 through Wisconsin ICAC, the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children task force.

Parents should:
+ monitor their children’s online activity
+ talk with kids about what they are doing online
+ keep computers and cell phones in shared or public spaces in the home.

- Parents who notice a child messaging with an unfamiliar person should contact local law enforcement.

- Detectives report sites like Roblox and WhatsApp are among the common platforms to watch.

- The suspect, Cody Pierson, is facing 20 counts of possession of child po*******hy and 20 counts of child s*xual exploitation in Walworth County.

Four police detectives in a city of about 15,000 people are leading what they describe as one of the largest internet crimes against children investigations they have encountered.

Nathaniel Castro, 31, pleaded guilty to soliciting a child for prostitution and s*xual assault in West Bend. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 12.
