Here's a little more about Desirae:

Why did you want to work as a caregiver?
- I grew up always helping my grandparents and loved every second of it so I knew I wanted to do something like that when I grew up.

Why did you choose to work for Visiting Angels and how long have you been with the company?
- I saw the reviews and how highly everyone spoke of it so I wanted to try the company and it's been amazing.

What’s an average day at work like for you?
- I have one client in the morning that I help get ready for the day, make her breakfast and clean, and then I have her at night to help her get ready for bed and to have dinner. Then a couple days during the week I have two other clients that I help clean, make them food, and take them shopping.

How many clients do you visit?
- I work with three clients that I help and visit with.

What’s your favorite part about your job?
- Getting to hear all the stories and experiences they have had, and just talking with them.

What challenges have you faced at work and how have you overcome them?
- I haven't had really any challenges, all my client are understanding and caring.

What is your proudest moment at Visiting Angels?
- When my clients tell me that they are so thankful for helping them with tasks.

What has been the most rewarding part of working for Visiting Angels?
- Just knowing that I'm helping my clients with stuff they can really do anymore and making their day easier.

What advice would you give someone who’s considering applying to be a caregiver?
- Just be patient, kind, and always treat them with respect. I always treat them how I would treat my family, so our clients deserve the same. It's an amazing job.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Are there any random facts about yourself that you could share with us?
- Well I grew up in the country so I love anything outdoors really. My husband and I usually visit family or play with our dogs. I love to bake and cook.
