Sheboygan ReStore is open four days a week (Wednesday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm). ReStore sales support our affordable home-repair and home-buying programs. 🏘️ 🔨
Your donations of gently used furniture and home goods, not to mention financial donations, help keep the ReStore lights on and the small staff paid. 🛒
As we count down the weeks until the end of our fiscal year, please consider helping this Sheboygan County resource for affordable furniture and home supplies. Together, we build homes, communities, and hope. Habitatlakeside.com/donate

Kewanna's home was dedicated May 27. She closed on the house June 4 and is an official Habitat home buyer. 🌟Kewanna, her kids, and their dog, Scrappi, will soon move in and make their house a home. Congratulations! 🎉🏚️🐕

Charlie Allis spent the last year as a marketing intern at Habitat Lakeside via the Northeast Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship - NEWYA program. Charlie, a senior at Kohler School District Kohler High School, did everything from create ReStore posters and write blogs to work on home-build sites and go out on ReStore donation runs with staffers. He recalls his experience and shares what he learned in our latest blog post.

The average Habitat Lakeside home costs $200,000 to build. 🏘️ 💸
Your donation to our fiscal year-end campaign will help cover costs that donations of material and labor do not cover. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑
Five more weeks until the end of this campaign! Donating to Habitat Lakeside is a direct way to allow us to make a splash in Sheboygan County. Together, build homes, communities, and hope. 💚Habitatlakeside.com/donate

Our fantastic Northeast Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program interns are leaving us at the end of May. The two spent a year in Habitat Lakeside's marketing department, doing everything from creating promotions for the ReStore to helping out with Rock the Block. In this blog post, Sam Parnitzke reflects on his year with Habitat Lakeside and his plans for the future. 🎓

Yesterday, our Executive Director, Le'Shay Guy, graduated from the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Sheboygan program. During the 10-month program, Le'Shay built relationships with other Sheboygan County leaders.

"One of the biggest takeaways from this experience was realizing just how special this community truly is, " Le'Shay says. "We are surrounded by people, businesses, and organizations that care deeply about making a difference, and I’m incredibly grateful to live, work, and serve here."

Le'Shay also shares some insights she gained during the program. "Leadership is not just about guiding others toward a goal. It’s about relationships, adaptability, continued growth, and being willing to listen and learn from those around you," she says. "This experience challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, reflect on the type of leader I want to be, and embrace the fact that leadership is a lifelong journey of learning."

Le'Shay and the entire Habitat Lakeside organization thank the Sheboygan County Chamber for investing in current and future leaders through this program and the entire cohort for participating in this remarkable program. "I’m excited to continue growing, collaborating, and serving alongside so many incredible leaders in Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce," Le'Shay says.

By the time Habitat Lakeside’s fiscal year ends, we will have moved seven children into stable, safe housing. 🏡
Stable means these children have the same place to come home to, day after day, year after year. Stability means parents can start building foundational wealth. 💸
Donate to Habitat Lakeside today and support stability for Sheboygan County’s kids. Together, we build homes, communities, and hope. Habitatlakeside.com/donate

Thank you, National Honor Society students from Howards Grove School District Howards Grove High School for devoting your time to putting the finishing touches on our 53rd house! Twenty plus students, and their teacher, flocked to the house on Sheboygan's North side to plant the lawn, put down mulch, paint a storage shed and otherwise get the house ready for Kewanna and her four children. Volunteers like these make our heart sing. 🎼🩷
