Join us! Tuesday, October 13 | 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Sheboygan County Food Bank 3115 N. 21st Street, Sheboygan for our first shred event and food drive. See below for a list of accepted and unacceptable items. We hope to see you there!

What to Bring:
✅ Paper only: tax forms, junk mail, checks, file folders, blueprints, photographs, clean paper, file folders.
✅ Remove staples, paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands.
✅ Please use paper bags (plastic bags cannot be shredded) 50 lbs max.

🚫 Not Accepted: 3-ring binders, hanging file folders, cardboard, large clips, hardcover books, telephone books, plastic bags, packing materials, transparencies, ID badges, licenses, credit cards, CDs, DVDs, tapes, disks, backup tapes, VCR tapes, common trash, hazardous or medical waste materials, magnetic media, x-rays, rx bottles, computers and accessories, microfilm, microfiche, paraffin blocks, glass slides.

❤️ Give Back, Too! Bring one bag of food for each bag of shredding you bring.

We’ll also be collecting canned soup, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned fruit, pasta, pasta sauce, hygiene items (toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, etc.), and monetary donations to support the Sheboygan County Food Bank.

This upcoming holiday season, help stock the shelves at Sheboygan County Food Bank by collecting food with your coworkers, friends, family or neighbors!

Last November and December, our community held more than 140 food drives and collected nearly 50,000 pounds of donations for Sheboygan County Food Bank and our network of local food pantries.

Our team can provide resources, including donation boxes. Most-needed items include:

How is our community doing? Join Healthy Sheboygan County on Wednesday, October 7th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Jake’s, a Lakeland Community (529 Ontario Ave), for a Data Walk Open House.

This interactive event is designed to share findings from our 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment, including data from our Community Input Survey and local health reports. There are no formal presentations. Participants are invited to walk through at their own pace, visit dedicated stations for our various Action Teams, and share their thoughts on local health strategies.

Last week, we had the chance to celebrate some very important people—our volunteers! 🎊

Week after week, our regular volunteers show up ready to give their time, talents and energy to help our neighbors. We celebrated them with an appreciation party featuring lunch, treats, beverages, and karaoke!

It was a small way to say a very big thank you for everything they do. Their dedication makes so much of our work possible and we are incredibly grateful to have them as part of the Sheboygan County Food Bank family. 💚

Looking for a meaningful way to volunteer and support children?

Our Food for Thought for Kids program provides bags of kid-friendly meals and snacks to local students who may otherwise face hunger over the weekend. Last school year, the program provided just over 20,000 weekend food bags to students at 26 schools.

It takes many helping hands to make this possible. Whether you're looking to volunteer on your own, with coworkers, friends or another community group, you can help make surekids have food they can count on each weekend. 🎒💚

Sheboygan County Food Bank will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Sheboygan Cares Food Pantry will also be closed that day and will open instead on Tuesday, September 8.

If you have a regular pantry visit scheduled for Monday, your visit will move to the same time on Tuesday. If you need to change your time or cancel your visit, please call our intake line at 920-453-0136.
