Thanks to our community's generosity so far for our Fund Food for Thought campaign, 90 local children are now set to receive weekend snacks and meals during the upcoming school year. 💚

Our goal is to support 750 children through Food for Thought for Kids during the 2026–2027 school year, and every donation made through June 18 will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to Black Spring Foundation.

A huge thank you to Acuity Insurance and everyone who participated in last week’s Giving Back Together event! ❤

Acuity employees and their families — including many helping hands from kids — assembled 300 meal kits that will be distributed through the Sheboygan Cares Food Pantry. The kits included recipe cards and dry ingredients for Grandma’s Chicken and Rice Casserole and Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowls as well as handwritten positive messages. 📦🥫

We’re grateful for community partners like Acuity who continue finding meaningful ways to support local families and make giving back a shared experience across generations.

This school year Kiwanis Club of Greater Sheboygan volunteered for a total of 48 hours to pack nearly 3,700 bags of weekend food for our Food for Thought for Kids program! We're incredibly grateful for all of the groups, businesses, and individuals who gave their time to help make sure the program ran smoothly this year.

Kiwanis volunteers will be hosting a brat fry at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company tomorrow (Saturday, May 30). Donations will be accepted in addition to food sales or you can visit their Team Fundraising page for our Fund Food for Thought campaign to make an online donation. 🤝

Hunger doesn’t take the weekend off—and for many kids in Sheboygan County, weekends can be the most uncertain time. Food for Thought for Kids partners with 29 schools to provide weekly bags of nutritious food to children who need it most. Our goal is

Today we were happy to recognize Anjennete with our Nourishing Hope Award for her outstanding support of Sheboygan County Food Bank for the past eight years. 💚

For the third time Anjennete helped coordinate a truckload donation of more than 35,000 pounds of nonperishable food from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that arrived this morning — an incredible contribution that will help support families throughout our community during the summer months.

Over the years, her impact has reached beyond these generous food donations. From helping coordinate the Hunger Ball of Sheboygan County fundraiser, to serving as a co-lead volunteer for our Food for Thought for Kids program and mentoring local high school students through hands-on volunteer work, Anjennete has continually shown what it means to care deeply for the community.

Thank you, Anjennete, for the compassion, leadership, and countless hours you’ve dedicated to helping nourish hope for local children and families!

Want to make a big impact for Sheboygan County kids? Consider starting a fundraiser for Fund Food for Thought. 🍏🤝

This year, individuals, businesses, families, and community groups can create fundraising pages to help support children through our Food for Thought for Kids program.

Setting up your fundraising page is easy. We have a toolkit and ready-to-use social media resources. Plus, the top individual and team fundraisers will receive a behind-the-scenes program tour, special recognition, and an award.

Whether you rally coworkers, friends, customers, teammates, or family members, when you start a fundraiser, every dollar raised helps provide weekend food for local children — and every donation is matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to Black Spring Foundation through the deadline on June 18.

Please note that Sheboygan County Food Bank and Sheboygan Cares Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday as we honor and remember those who served. 🇺🇸

Weekends can bring uncertainty around food for local children when school is not in session.

Today, we’re launching the fourth annual Fund Food for Thought campaign to help support 750 children through our Food for Thought for Kids program during the upcoming school year — our biggest goal yet. If we reach our $150,000 goal by June 18, we’ll be able to support about 100 more students than this past year.

Every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to Black Spring Foundation. 💚

New this year: You can also start your own fundraiser as an individual, business, family, or team to help rally support for local kids.

Over 28,000 pounds of food was collected on Saturday for Sheboygan County Food Bank for this year’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive! 📫🥫

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, sorted, lifted, loaded, and supported this year’s food drive. From bags left by mailboxes to packed trucks and busy sorting lines, Saturday was a great reminder of what happens when our community shows up for one another.

We’re especially grateful to the Sheboygan Post Office, letter carriers and volunteers who helped make the day possible. Your time and generosity will help stock local pantries and support families across Sheboygan County in the months ahead.

If your donations were not picked up, please feel welcome to drop them off at our warehouse located at 3115 N. 21 Street (Door C) in Sheboygan from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.
