The Clerk's Office has begun mailing absentee ballots for the April 5, 2022 Election to voters with requests on file. Inside the envelope is an instruction sheet that has important information including how to return your ballot including:
1. The use of drop boxes is NOT PERMITTED FOR THIS ELECTION.

2. If you choose to mail it back, the USPS recommends mailing your ballot at least one week before Election Day. Returning a ballot from overseas may take longer.

3. The voter can choose to hand deliver to the Clerk during office hours.

4. The voter can choose to drop it off at our polling place on Election Day between 7 am and 8 pm.

5. Absentee ballots may not be returned by email or fax.
