✨ Sneak Peek of Our Sensory Room! ✨

We are so excited to share a glimpse of a space that is being thoughtfully designed with our children in mind.

A special thank you to Kelly Beck, our Mental Health Therapist, for the incredible time, creativity, and care she is pouring into this room. Every detail has been chosen with a purpose to help children feel safe, calm, and supported when they walk through our doors.

For many of the children we serve, coming to the Child Advocacy Center may be one of the hardest days of their lives. This sensory room will provide a comforting environment where children can regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and prepare for forensic interviews and other services in a way that feels less overwhelming.

Healing begins with feeling safe, and we are grateful for the people who help us create spaces where hope can grow.

Found Safe! Good work Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office, Oklahoma!

🚨 MISSING PERSON 🚨

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Pralee Davis.

Pralee was last seen leaving her residence in McLoud on May 11, 2026. At the time of her disappearance, she was believed to be wearing blue shorts, a white shirt, carrying a fluffy cheetah print purse with a gold chain, and black Van shoes.

⚖️ Approximately 125 lbs

🤠 PONY UP, FOLKS! 🤠

Our posse has officially hit the trail!

Over the next several weeks, the Child Advocacy Center of Central Oklahoma team will be riding across our community, visiting local businesses and inviting them to join our Posse Protecting Children through sponsorship of our inaugural Shootin’ & Scootin’ for Justice event on August 1st.

Sponsorship packages start at just $500 and include event admission and drink tickets to enjoy an unforgettable evening of western entertainment, live music, dinner, auctions, and community impact.

Every sponsorship helps ensure children who have experienced abuse have a safe place to be heard, believed, and supported throughout the healing and justice process. It also helps provide the forensic interviews, advocacy, medical services, and multidisciplinary teamwork that not only help children heal, but help hold offenders accountable and support successful prosecution of those who harm children.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at Pottawatomie Online, Countywide & Sun for their commitment to shining a light on issues that matter and helping educate not only our local communities, but the entire state of Oklahoma, about the work of Child Advocacy Centers and the power of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach.

Through thoughtful, compassionate, and in-depth reporting, they helped tell the stories behind the work highlighting the importance of collaboration between law enforcement, child welfare, prosecutors, medical professionals, mental health providers, advocates, and forensic interviewers to ensure children who have experienced abuse are heard, supported, and protected.
