The mayor-elect of New York City said:
"We will prove there is no problem too large for government to solve and no concern too small for it to care about."
That attitude is not isolated to just New York City. It is also essentially the same philosophy articulated by those who just won a 7-1 majority on the Shawnee City Council and those who control the county commission
In Tuesday's election, early estimates indicate that Republican turnout was down from 2021 and 2023 by 25% or more, while Democratic turnout was was way up. That is a recipe for disaster. We will post more as the election is closed and data rolls in.
