The Central Oklahoma Community Action Agency, Inc. is a non profit agency in six Oklahoma counties: Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, Payne, Pottawatomie and Seminole counties.
We utilize local donations as well as specific federal and local grants to deliver the services available in those six counties. The need is always greater than the supply…we seem to always expend all funds and there are still so many people needing rent, mortgage, utility or housing assistance…more than we can cover. We also have the volunteer tax program, VITA; Shoes That Fit; and Meals on Wheels. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring all these programs run smoothly and fairly. So each dollar goes as far as it can but, as mentioned before, it’s never enough. Thats where you come in!
