Good morning. I’m sending out an update on the Tribal Court. Currently we are closed. Over Christmas the ceiling in the Court Clerk’s office caved in due to a major leak. This leak potentially caused mold due to the water damage sitting there for days while the Tribe was closed for Christmas. There is also potential that there is mold and asbestos in the air in the Tribal Court. This is why we are currently working remotely. We are still answering calls from our work cell phones and you can also reach us at [email protected]. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time.

Good morning all and happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there. Just wanted to give an update. Beginning Tuesday, June 20th the Court will be having a new Audio Visual System installed. We will still be holding Court on Tuesday, June 20th at 10. But all parties will be called back one case at a time, since the Courtroom will be inaccessible. We will be utilizing the Juror room which is quite small. Thank you for all your support and understanding.

Thanks to all who volunteered. Our community focus group is full.

The Tribal Court is having a community focus group on May 3rd from 6pm-8:30pm with dinner provided at 5pm. This group is limited to 7 people, and there are still 5 openings. The purpose of this group is to discuss; anything you have seen or had happen to you while working with the Tribal Court, any changes you might think need to made and any recommendations you may have. In addition, there will be a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card (donated by Evergreen Training and Development.) FYI: The civil docket for tomorrow 4.21. 23 is continued to 5.19.23. The Court is open normal business hours and closed from 12-1pm. We hope everyone and their families are safe from the storms.

The AST Court is looking for 2 young people to participate in a focus group on the evening of May 3rd. To qualify: you need to be 18-24 years old, been through the AST Court in some capacity during juvenile years and your case must currently be closed (for privacy purposes.)
