Looking for a way to support children in foster care?

We’ve had many community members reach out asking how they can help, and donations continue to make a meaningful difference for children entering care.

Here are some of the most needed items:
👕 New or gently used clothing items
🩲 Pajamas and underwear (new)
👶 Diapers and wipes
👟 Shoes and socks
🧼 Hygiene products (shampoo, soap, deodorant)
🧸 Comfort items (blankets, stuffed animals, bags/suitcases)
🛏️ Bedding (pillows, sheets)

Donations like these help ease the transition for children entering foster care.

Let’s keep the conversation going about foster care!

❓Our next frequently asked question (FAQ): How will I know if my home will meet the requirements to become licensed?

During the licensing process, the Foster Care Coordinator will work closely with you to review home requirements and answer any questions along the way.

Requirements are in place to help ensure children have a safe and appropriate environment while in care. This includes things such as adequate space, working smoke detectors, safe storage of medications and fi****ms, and general home safety.

You do not need to have a perfect home to become licensed. The Foster Care Coordinator is there to guide and support families through the process and help identify anything that may need to be updated before approval.
