💧EARLY NOTICE TO OUR RESIDENTS 💧
💧PLANNED WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION 💧

The City of Shaw would like to provide our residents with early notice of an upcoming water service interruption so everyone has time to prepare.

The DRA contractor has requested that the water be temporarily shut off on Thursday, July 23, 2026, to allow for the installation of a new fire hydrant on Jackson Street. This work is an important part of improving our water system and enhancing fire protection for our community.

At this time, this is advance notice only. The exact time of the temporary water shutdown and the anticipated restoration time will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.

We understand that interruptions to water service can be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as these improvements are completed. Thank you for working with us as we continue investing in a safer and stronger City of Shaw.

Water service has been restored in the Silver Bayou area. Please allow time for water pressure to fully build throughout the system.
