• Attended Coahoma County Jr. College where he was a member of the football team

• Attended Tennessee School of Religion where he received both a Bachelor and Master of Divinity
• Attended Delta State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016

• Married for 30 years to Dr. Cora S. Jackson
