As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, we want to thank our amazing students, families, staff, and community for a year filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories at Shaw Heights Elementary! 💙

From academic achievements to special events and celebrations, this year was truly one to remember. We are so proud of all that our students accomplished and grateful for the continued support from our families and community partners.

We were excited to welcome our future ACES yesterday! Students were greeted with a special introduction to our amazing school staff and clubs, followed by an energetic performance from our Spirit Team. To wrap up their visit, our future ACES enjoyed a tour around the Heights as they got a glimpse of all the wonderful things that await them. We can’t wait to see these future leaders shine at Shaw Heights! 💙✨

Today was a day of celebration for some of our ACES! To recognize their hard work all year long, our Student Lighthouse Team took a field trip to Chuck E. Cheese. Being the leaders that they are, they invited the students from Mrs. King’s class to join them. This fun outing was a way for the students to celebrate the community service projects they have completed this year. We are proud to be a Leader in Me school!

What can we say?! We love our principal! Today was Principal Appreciation Day and we made sure to make Mrs. Barrett’s first year as a principal one she won’t forget! In fact, she’s so humble that she didn’t even know what today was! But not a chance her staff was letting this day pass without giving her the recognition she deserves. Thank you for all you do for our ACES, Mrs. Barrett!
