Captain Robin Broxterman and Firefighter Brian Schira have many ties to Delhi Fire. Brian served with DTFD for 2 years and grew close with many who still work here today. Robin’s niece, Firefighter Conklin, started out in our fire explorer program in 2009. She has since followed in her aunt’s footsteps and was hired with DTFD in 2017.

Their sacrifice wasn’t ineffectual. We use this tragedy as a source of motivation to improve our service to our communities and safety for our firefighters.
